English classes are not offered in the public schools, yet it is very important for future career opportunities.  We did not want the children to miss out on learning the English language simply because they cannot afford to attend private schools. Even the public schools cost money in Tanzania, but many of the private schools are financially out of reach for most of these children.

We figured we would solve that problem and hire a teacher to come to the orphanage after school a few times per week and teach all the children English.

So far,  it has been going very well.  We all currently looking for Education Ambassadors to help us with the cost of the teachers’ salary, the books and supplies needed to continue this service for our children.
